Scoop for Reunion

Here's the scoop for our 20-year REUNION:

Most of the events will be centered around the Marriott. I have reserved a block of rooms. They are offering us a discounted rate of $92/night. Thought this would be good for out-of-towners and in-towners who want to be close to the action (or not have to drive home after the parties). When you make your reservations, tell them that you are with the CHS 20-year reunion.

Friday, September 19th, in the afternoon, Mr. Potter has offered to give us a tour of the new CHS facilities. So, for those of you who are interested in seeing how much our alma matter has changed, Mr. Potter can give you the scoop. Please let me know by August 31 if you would like to go on the CHS tour, so I can give the school an accurate head count.

Friday, September 19th, in the evening, we will be going en masse to the Homecoming football game. Wear CHS colors to show support (royal blue & white for those who don't remember). Please let me know by August 31 if you are going to the game, so I can tell them how many seats to rope off for us. The school is letting us in for free.

Friday, September 19th, there will be a Post-Game party at the Marriott - most likely Rumrunners - or in our block of rooms (if they are conducive to holding us all).

Saturday, September 20th, we will have a dinner and a dance at the Marriott. Dinner will include your choices of the following: Prime Rib, Stuffed Chicken, Baked Talapia, green salad, fresh fruit, tortellini salad, roasted baby potatoes, glazed carrots, broccolini, roasted tomatoes, dinner rolls, chocolate cake, cheesecake, raspberry eclairs. Coffee, tea, lemonade and table wine will be included in the ticket price. A cash bar will be available for those who would like something else. A DJ will be spinning our favorite 80's tunes. Tickets for this will be $50 per person. Will need checks from everyone by August 31. E-mail me at sharri_hefner *at* mac.com for the address to send them to.
